3. What are the main requirements to buy a home?
Must be a first time home buyer - If you owned a home, you must not be on the title for 3 years before purchasing from us.
Must be income eligible - Households cannot exceed maximum incomes for household size.
Minimum incomes to apply will be published with application as they vary by project.
Must demonstrate 3.5% down payment (can be form of a gift) and usually at least $7,500 in savings.
Must be able to secure a pre-approval from an approved mortgage company - must have at least 680 credit score.

You may secure your preapproval and financing from any bank of your choice; however, the following lenders have special mortgage products for Affordable Housing. We will not occupy preapprovals from other lenders unless they review and approve the deed restrictions.
