Garden State Episcopal Community Development Corporation will be holding an inter-faith Homeless Memorial Service Wednesday, December 21st, to mark the passing of homeless men, women and children who may otherwise never be formally acknowledged and to remind Jersey City that homelessness is a very real problem.
The ceremony will be held at 1pm at the Church of the Incarnation (68 Storms avenue), with a reception to follow. Prior to the service, volunteers are needed to help make sandwiches (9am-1pm), and again during the reception to help serve meals and clean up.
